Police are currently investigating a woman's cadaver found in Triq is-Salib tal-Marsa.
A large number of police officers, medical, and forensic teams are currently on site. The identity of the woman and the circumstances which led to her death are not yet known.

Homicide investigator and Assistant Commissioner Keith Arnaud and duty magistrate Joe Mifsud are among those on the scene.

The site in question is the same site where the body of Sion Grech was found following her murder in 2005.
