Cyclist grievously injured in Gozo

A cyclist was grievously injured when he was hit by a Mitsubishi Pajero Junior today at around 09:40. The accident happened in Gharb Street, corner with St Nicholas Street in Gharb, Gozo.

The 34-year-old cyclist lives in Rabat Gozo, and the vehicle driver is a 72-year-old from Kercem.

The cyclist was rushed to hospital, and the incident is being investigated by Gozo district police.
