67-year-old amongst five arrested on drug charges

A 67-year-old man was amongst five arrested following a drugs raid in Kalkara on Saturday.

Drug Squad personnel carried out a search at a residence in Triq Filomena, Kalkara, where they found sachets of heroin, cannabis resin, drug paraphernalia, as well as an amount of cash.

Five individuals, aged between 33 and 67 years old, were arrested.

They are expected to be arraigned in the coming days.

Police investigations are ongoing.
