Two injured as minibus overturns in traffic accident

Two Hamrun residents were injured in a traffic accident in Gudja on Sunday morning, according to the Police Communications Unit.

The collision took place in Vjal l-Avjazzjoni in Gudja and involved a Ford Transit minibus and a Ford Escort car which was being driven by a 76-year old man residing in Hamrun. The man was accompanied by an 82-year old woman, also residing in Hamrun.   

The police have said that minibus driver did not sustain any injuries while the two Hamrun residents have been certified as suffering from slight injuries.

A police investigation is underway.
