A 70-year-old woman is being treated for injuries sustained after being run-over by a van, this morning

A woman, 70, from Floriana, is being treated at Mater Dei hospital for grievous injuries, after she was run over this morning.

Police were informed at 9:15am that the woman was hit by a Citroen Nemo being driven by a man, 56, from Paola, on Triq Glormu Cassar, in Valletta.

Police investigations are on-going.
