Two-year-old nearly drowns in pool, seriously injured

A two-year-old girl is seriously injured after she nearly drowned in a pool in Xaghra, Gozo.

The girl was taken to Gozo General Hospital after she was found unconscious in the pool in a private residence in Triq Ta’ Mannar in Xaghra.

The girl will be taken to Mater Dei Hospital.

A police investigation is ongoing.
