The 13-year-old boy left the store without paying for items, but later paid the police when apprehended
A 13-year-old boy was caught leaving a shop in Sliema without paying for his items.
Police confirmed that a call was made at around 3:30pm on Sunday about a person attempting to steal from a shop.
It was later confirmed that the teenager left the store without paying for his items. When apprehended by the store owner and police, he paid for them in full amount, Police said.
