The MATSEC Examinations Board says it has rescheduled or relocated a number of upcoming examinations following the announcement of a general election on 30 May
Examination venues and dates for the end-of-May MATSEC sittings have been changed following the government's confirmation of a general election on 30 May 2026, the MATSEC Examinations Board announced.
This affects candidates sitting examinations on 29 and 30 May. Examinations on 30 May have been cancelled entirely and moved to new dates, while some venue assignments for 29 May have also changed.

All other venues on 29 May remain unchanged, whilst no examinations will be held on 30 May.
All Art papers originally set for that date have been moved to 1 and 2 June.
SEC Art Paper 1 will now be held on Monday, 1 June at 4pm, and SEC Art Paper 2 on Tuesday, 2 June at 4pm, whilst the Intermediate Art and Advanced Art Paper 1 will both be held on Monday, 1 June at 9am, and the Advanced Art Paper 2 will take place that same afternoon at 4pm.
