Momentum sees rise in donations after Cleansing Department removed signage
Momentum candidates hit the ground in several towns over the weekend to discuss their core pillars of good governance and a just economy with the public
Momentum said Malta is ready for a "third-way" after seeing a rise in small-scale donations following the recent attempts by the Cleansing Department to remove party signage.
“The public response has been the opposite of what the authorities intended,” Momentum said, adding that these funds have been instrumental in keeping their teams on the road and ensuring their message reaches every household.
Over the weekend, Momentum candidates took to the streets of Birkirkara, Luqa, Mosta, Swieqi, and Siġġiewi, distributing the party’s newspaper, which outlines their core pillars of good governance, a just economy, and a commitment to restoring the environmental beauty of Malta and Gozo.
“This weekend we saw a genuine desire for a centrist alternative that puts the citizen before the partisan machine,” Momentum General Secretary Mark Camilleri Gambin said. “We are incredibly grateful to the donors who stepped up this week to ensure our voice remains loud and clear.”
They explained that this outreach comes at a pivotal moment as Momentum continues to challenge the established duopoly, explaining that their team will continue these visits throughout the month.
