Early voting to take place on Saturday 23 May
Early voting will take place on Saturday 23 May but to be eligible you have until Friday at noon to file a declaration
Early voting for the 30 May election will take place on Saturday 23 May in Malta and Gozo for those who are abroad or hospitalised on polling day.
However, voters opting to cast their ballot early have to make a declaration with the Electoral Commission up to noon of Friday 22 May.
The declaration can be made via the Electoral Commission’s website or by visiting the vote counting complex at the ex-trade fair grounds in Naxxar or the Gozo office at Triq Ta’ Wara s-Sur, Rabat.
Visiting hours are as follows: Daily from 8am to 1pm and from 3pm to 8pm; and on Friday 22 May, the last day, between 8am and noon.
Applicants for early voting must take their ID card with them.
Those eligible to vote early will need to take their voting document with them to be able to vote. Voters registered in Malta shall cast their vote at the Naxxar counting hall, while those registered in Gozo shall vote at the Government Experimental Farm, Mġarr Road, Xewkija.
