Early voting turnout reaches 84% ahead of general election

Around 84% of eligible early voters cast their ballot by 10pm on Thursday ahead of the 30 May general election.

The Electoral Commission said 956 votes were cast out of 1,143 registered voters, who are hospital patients eligible for early voting.

All eligible voters will head to the polls tomorrow, Saturday 30 May, and the electorate is reminded to bring their voting document, as they will not be permitted to vote without them.
