Drug bust in St Julian’s: Qormi man arrested

Police have arrested a man in connection with a drug find in St Julian’s.

The bust was carried out in the morning after investigations lasting weeks on drug trafficking. The Qormi man was apprehended in St Julian’s with 250 grams of cannabis and a capsule containing cocaine.

Another search in nearby garage used by the same person produced 15 kilos of cannabis resin, 537 ecstasy tablets and 10 grams of cocaine.

Dr Antonio Mizzi is conducting an inquiry. The man will be charged in court with conspiracy, trafficking and aggravated possession of drugs.
