Danish F-16 in emergency landing at MIA

A Danish F-16 fighter has made an emergency landing at Malta International Airport.

Danish media have reported that the jet requested an emergency landing after developing a technical fault during dawn operations over Libya.

The F-16 fighter is based in Signonella, Sicily.

On Friday an RAF Tornado jet made an emergency landing for refuelling on Friday.
