MCAST respond to Pulse resit result concerns
Students can still apply to MCAST even if re-sit results not yet received contrary to student organisation Pulse’s claim that students cannot apply until results have been received.
Concern was expressed by Pulse early this week regarding the delay in publishing A-level resit results as the scholastic year begins. In their plea to MATSEC bodies to publish resit results, Pulse mentioned that students who have failed exams will not have the opportunity to submit alternate applications to MCAST “due to application deadlines” set for Wednesday (tomorrow).
In a press release sent today, MCAST responded to Pulse’s statements and reassured those students who have not yet received their results, that conditional applications can be submitted for full-time courses during this week’s final call for applications.
MCAST informed prospective students that they, “can submit an application even if they have not yet received the exam results which they may require as entry criteria for their chosen course.
Students who present provisional results with their application are required to bring a copy of the official results to MCAST as soon as they receive them.”
