Faculty of Laws fails to publish resit results
Law of Obligations resit result has not yet been published, despite the University’s scholastic year courses started this week.
In a press statement, the European Law Students’ Association, Malta, voiced its concern over the fact that the Law of Obligations resit result has not yet been published by the Faculty of Laws.
“This despite the fact that the University deadline for the publication of resit results was last Friday, September 30. No reason as to the cause of such delay was given,” the students’ association said.
ELSA Malta believes that it is “utterly unacceptable” that with Fourth Year lectures commencing today, such a large number of Third Year Law Students are still in the dark as to whether they should attend such lectures or not.
“This appalling situation is highlighted by the fact that this result has left tens of students not knowing whether they have graduated or whether they shall have to repeat the year.
ELSA Malta calls on all responsible parties, mainly the concerned lecturers and the Faculty of Laws, to remedy the situation at the earliest possible.”
