What a desperate situation. Malta is flooded with illegal drugs easily available to all and sundry, especially teenagers and vulnerable victims. For those who boost that in Malta we do not have victims of political motivation, these people surely cannot deny that the massive drug problems destroying thousands of families and eroding the social fiber of the country are the result of a weak government. On numerous occasions, successive nationalist governments have deliberately turned a blind eye or two to the experts concerns and advices on the magnitude and proportions of this danger. This lax attitude by the authorities have given massive wrong signals to the extent that the problem is now out of hand.
