PBS editorial chairman paid €16,306

PBS editorial board chairman Joseph Pirotta is paid €16,306.

In a parliamentary question answered by education minister Dolores Cristina, it was explained that Professor Joe Pirotta is paid €16,306 in annual salary.

Apart from his salary, Professor Pirotta also enjoys benefits of mobile calls allowance.

The same parliamentary question reveals a vast difference in pay between Prof. Pirotta and other borad members.

Minister Cristina explained that Prof. M.A Lauri, pro-Rector at the University of Malta earns €3,494 and mobile phone allowance.

The same is paid to other PBS editorial board member Charles Mizzi.
