Former prime minister Eddie Fenech Adami, 92, admitted to hospital for observation after suffering ‘health complications’
Eddie Fenech Adami was admitted to hospital earlier on Tuesday after suffering “health complications” but is in a stable condition, the Nationalist Party said.
The former prime minister and president emeritus is 92-years-old and was admitted to hospital for observation, the PN said in a statement.
The PN wished Fenech Adami a speedy recovery and said party leader Alex Borg, who was in Luxembourg to follow the Maltese national football team, made contact with the family.
“The PN augurs that the former prime minister and former leader of the Partit Nazzjonalista returns home soon,” the statement said.
Meanwhile, the Labour Party and Prime Minister Robert Abela, who was also in Luxembourg, wished Fenech Adami a speedy recovery.
