PN councillors demand action on Gżira vandalism

Nationalist Party councillors in Gżira have strongly condemned acts of vandalism that took place in the locality in recent days.

Doors and facades in Gżira were vandalised between Thursday and Friday. The culprit is unknown.

The councillors pointed out that similar acts of vandalism are becoming common in various localities across Malta, and have appealed to the police commissioner to dedicate more human resources in Gżira and surrounding localities.

"Such acts of vandalism serve no purpose other than to cause further harm within our community, place a financial and emotional burden on affected families, and degrade the environment," they said.

They expressed their full solidarity with residents and business owners in the area, and urged anyone with information about those responsible to approach Gżira’s local council or to contact the police directly. 

The PN councillors have assured all residents that the council will continue to follow the case closely while exerting all necessary pressure on the central government.
