The Food Safety and Security Authority has published a warning on dried beans by Bonito Dell’ Orto.

The product must not be consumed since it contains the presence of a banned pesticide called ‘Haloxyfop’. 

While consuming a contaminated product does not present an immediate risk, it could lead to health concerns when consumed long-term.

Authorities said consumers should not eat the product, advising to dispose of the product or return it to the store from which it was purchased.
