Lydia Abela presents €20,000 donation to Puttinu Cares

Wife of the prime minister Lydia Abela, along with her daughter Giorgia May, presented a donation of €20,000 to Puttinu Cares.

The funds were raised from the Enchanted Easter activity, as well as from the sale of Giorgia May’s figolli.

Abela said that the donation is a fruit of the great hearts of so many people who participated in the initiative, who together can make a difference in the lives of families who truly need support. 

She thanked everyone who played a part in the event, as well as Rennie and Angele for their tireless work, deduction, love, and the sense of hope they instill in patients and their families.

On behalf of Puttinu Cares, Rennie and Angele expressed their gratitude, stressing their appreciation for the continuous support they receive. 

They concluded that Puttinu Cares will continue to be a source of support for families and patients who rely on their help during difficult times.

The Enchanted Easter initiative has become an annual event, which year after year brings together families, children, and volunteers in a spirit of solidarity and generosity.

As much as it brings joy to those who participate, the event also translates into aid for an organisation that does so much for so many families.
