Industrial site catches fire in Żebbuġ

Firefighters were called to Żebbuġ on Saturday afternoon after an industrial site caught fire.

The blaze was reported shortly after 2pm, when a grass fire spread to the area.

The Civil Protection Department informed the public that response operations are still ongoing and the situation is being closely monitored.

It also urged the public to follow all instructions issued by emergency services, while Mdina Road in Żebbuġ is currently closed in both directions.
