Gozitan activist and former PN candidate Luke Said flagged a case of vandalism in war shelters in Nadur.

In a post on Facebook, the environmental activist said he was disappointed and angered after seeing the state of the site.

Photos show spray paint on the walls of the shelter, as he noted that there was also garbage being dumped there and fires being lit.

Despite closing access to the shelter twice, vandals broke the locks and still made their way inside.

Said stated that a police report was made and the site was closed once again.

He added that attempts to reach out to culture authorities in order to clean the shelters were made.

“No, I won’t give up,” he concluded.
