Stay away from these cookies if you have a hazelnut allergy

Do not eat these cookies if you have a hazelnut allergy, the Food Safety and Security Authority has warned.

The warning was issued after the product, made by the brand Amo Essere, was found to contain hazelnut proteins which are not indicated on the label.

Consumers with a hazelnut allergy are advised not to consume the implicated product and either dispose of it or return it to the store from which it was purchased.
