Muscat challenges Gonzi to test his majority in Parliament

In a short statement issued yesterday evening, the Labour Party leader Joseph Muscat said that "after gaining re-election as PN leader and after bringing the country to a standstill for weeks, the least Lawrence Gonzi can do is test his position in parliament."

Muscat challenged the Prime Minister to discuss and vote on the Opposition's motion on justice in parliament in the coming week.

"If Lawrence Gonzi failks to do so his re-election as PN leader would be a waste of time," said Muscat.
