Police appeal for public assistance on cat killings
With the cat killings going on for two years, the Police reassure the public that they are doing their utmost to catch the killer.
The Police have issued a press statement seeking any assistance or information which could be supplied by the general public, with regard to the cat killings that have been taking place over the past two years in Malta.
Last Wednesday, two cats were found crucified to two trees in Mosta, the locality which has seen the majority of the killings take place. The latest discovery came two years after the first case of a crucified cat was reported.
"We are asking the general public to pass any information which one may have with regard to the mentioned cases, whilst not disclosing any Police operations or assisting the culprit or culprits," the statement said.
The Police reassured the public that the investigation is being taken seriously.
"One should be rest assured that serious action is being taken and investigations have been initiated, which shall result to be fruitful shortly," it said.
