Polidano, Sandro Chetcuti and former minister Michael Falzon launch new developers' association

Illum newspaper revealed yesterday the creation of the Malta Developers’ Association (MDA), which features big-name developers.

Among the developers that were present for the meeting which took place at Le Meridien in St Julian’s, there were Charles Polidano, better known “iċ-Ċaqnu”, and other major developers.

During the meeting, which was chaired by lawyer Robert Abela, who will serve as the association’s legal consultant, former Nationalist Minister Michael Falzon was proposed as the developers’ association’ President.

Illum also revealed that former GRTU Vice-President Sandro Chetcuti had been appointed as the association’s Vice-President.

Chetcuti “twice refused the post until the pending criminal court case against him for beating up GRTU Director-General Vince Farrugia was concluded."

“However an applause from among those present was enough for Chetcuti to accept the post in this new Association,” Illum revealed.
