Prime Minister Joseph Muscat today held a meeting with the Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas, in Amman, Jordan.

The two leaders discussed a series of issues, mainly the perpetual Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the Libyan situation.

Muscat was accompanied by foreign affairs minister George Vella, tourism minister Edward Zammit Lewis and economy minister Chris Cardona.

Muscat is in Jordan with a business delegation and he will also cross over to Beirut in Lebanon to open an office for Henley and Partners, the company which was awarded the concession for the sale of Maltese citizenship under the Individual Investor Programme.
