88 army recruits graduated this morning, as part of the passing out parade

Malta’s army receives 88 new soldiers

At a passing out parade held this morning, 88 army recruits, including nine women and 14 Gozitans graduated and will be assigned full time duties in different AFM sections, as required.

The recruits joned the AFM and started their training regime on 22 May of this year.

National security minister Michael Farrugia, together with Brigadier Jeffrey Curmi presided over the ceremony, at the AFM barracks in Luqa, after inspecting the graduating recruits. 

Parents and relatives were present for the ceremony.
