Matsec exam fees halved, says Education Ministry

The Education Ministry said today that Matsec fees have been halved, in line with the promise made in the budget 2018.

With O and A level past papers being made available to the public for free a few weeks ago, the ministry said that as of 2019, any exam fees will also be waived.

This measure, they said, will work towards reducing any financial difficulties students may have, which could result in them not being able to sit for the exams.

Exam applications were opened today.
