Barcelona manager Luis Enrique hospitalized with appendicitis
Barcelona's new manager Luis Enrique was hospitalized Monday with appendicitis, according to Mundo Deportivo and other Spanish media.

Reports said he would be operated on later Monday, in the Catalan town of Terrassa. Barcelona have not officially commented on his condition.
Luis Enrique, 44, took over at Barca two weeks ago when Argentine coach Gerardo Martino stepped down after the club's first season without a trophy since 2008.
