The France international has been heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford after new boss Louis van Gaal approved the signing of Luke Shaw from Southampton.

Juventus confirmed the signing of Patrice Evra on their official website: "Juventus Football Club can today announce that Patrice Evra has signed a two-year contract with the club after a fee of £1.2 million, to be paid in two separate installments, was agreed with Manchester United.

A further payment of £0.3 million will be made to Manchester United in the event of Juventus qualifying for the 2015/16 Champions League. "
