Pietro Ghedin reconfirmed as national football team coach

Pietro Ghedin has been reconfirmed as the coach of the national football team for the coming two years. Ghedin will now have the task to lead his team through the qualifiers for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

The contract was signed during a meeting between Malta Football Association President Norman Darmanin Demajo and Ghedin following consultation with the executive committee.

In a statement, the MFA congratulated Ghedin and wished him continued success with the national team.

Under the guidance of Pietro Ghedin, the national team has produced positive results which increased the team’s respect and reputation in the international football scene.
