Milan started on the attack and were close when Romagnoli had a goal disallowed.

Napoli responded with a goal. Mertens fired a superb strike against the post. The ball fell for Milik, who slotted the ball inside the net.

Mertens continued to bother Milan defenders, but was denied by Donnarumma, with the latter producing two excellent saves.

However, on the 33rd minute, the Milan shot stopper could do nothing to prevent Milik from scoring his second goal. The Polish striker lost his marker and headed home from Callejon’s corner.

Milan hit back in the second half, and drew level thanks to excellent strikes from M’Baye Niang and Suso Haul. On the 51st minute, Niang fired a low shot that went behind Reina. Few minutes later, Suso completed the comeback when he fired home a blistering strike from the edge of the area.

Despite losing their manager for protesting, Napoli regained their lead after Callejon tapped home from close-rage, following some good work from Mertens.

Milan hopes of another comeback vanished when Juraj Kucka and Niang were sent off. In the added time, Callejon killed any hopes that Milan might have had by adding a fourth goal.

Earlier on today, Juventus managed to beat Lazio 1-0.
