In a match which produced three red cards, Sliema and St. Andrews shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw.

St.Andrews went ahead after ten minutes. Following a free kick, the ball was delivered towards Michael Johnson who headed past Giuseppe Sarao.

Sliema equalised on the 40th minute. The ball was delivered towards the penalty area in the direction of Denni Rocha dos Santos. The Brazilian fired a header that gave the opposing goalkeeper no chance.

The Wanderers suffered a setback two minutes later when Peter Xuereb was given his marching orders after Fyodor Zammit showed him his second yellow card.

St. Andrews were also reduced to ten men on the 74th minute when Ante Bakmaz was sent off.

In less than five minutes, another player was sent off, this time it was Alex Muscat of Sliema.
