Balzan returned to winning ways in style as they trashed Mosta 7-1.

Mosta went ahead on the 21st minute. Lucky Victor Oseghale fired a strong shot past Ivan Janjusevic.

On the 25th minute, Mosta nearly scored again when David Fenech saw his effort hitting the post.

Balzan scored the equalising goal on the 33rd minute. From a corner, Ryan Fenech sent a cross inside the penalty area towards Alfred Effiong who headed home.

Oliver Spiteri’s side went ahead on the 43rd minute. Alan Da Silva Souza served Bojan Kaljevic and the latter hit a stunning shot past Andreas Vella.

Balzan increased the margin of the score on the 54th minute. Matteo Piciollo received a through pass and placed the ball inside the net.

Kaljevic scored Balzan’s fourth goal on the 62nd minute. The Montenegrin striker went inside the penalty area and slotted the ball behind Vella.

Balzan scored again on the 73rd minute through Da Silva Souza. The striker went on the right side and sent a powerful drive that gave Vella no chance.

Three minutes later, Balzan scored again. Substitute player Lydon Micallef fired a shot which Vella failed to hold as the ball settled inside the net.

Micallef made the score 7-1 two minutes later. The striker blocked Vella’s clearance and the ball went past the goal line.
