St. Andrews are one point away from securing their Premier League status for another season following a 2-1 win over struggling Mosta.

Mosta lost a golden chance on the 19th minute. Pedro Dos Santos Calcado served Njongo Priso and the latter finished wide from an ideal position.

Four minutes later, St. Andrews punished Mosta for missing this opportunity as they went ahead. Ivan Paz delivered a cross that was met by Kyrian Nwoko who headed past Yenz Cini.

Ten minutes later, Mosta were awarded a penalty. Karlo Kesinovic fouled Kurt Magro inside the penalty area and the referee ordered a penalty. From the eleven metres mark, Calcado finished inside the net.

St. Andrews scored the winning goal on the 53rd minute. Dale Camilleri hit a low shot that gave Cini no chance.
