St Andrews found no difficulty against bottom side Pembroke Athleta as they registered a 6-0 win.

St. Andrews showed their supremacy from the early stages of the match and went ahead on the 17th minute. Kyrian Nwoko was brought down inside the penalty by Toni Radovnikovic. The referee ordered a penalty and sent off Pembroke’s defender. From the penalty spot, Ivan Paz saw his shot hitting the post and the goalkeeper before ending up inside the net.

Danilo Doncic’s side doubled the score on the 44th minute. Aidan Friggieri served Dale Camilleri and the latter finished past Argyrs Roppas.

Two minutes into the second half, St Andrews made the score 3-0. Friggieri went on the left flank and passed the ball towards Joseph Farrugia who finished home from close range.

On the 61st minute, St Andrews nearly scored again. Camilleri fired a shot from distance that hit the post.

Three minutes later, St Andrews increased the margin of the score. Ziga Kastrevec found Friggieri and the youngster finished behind Roppas.

On the 85th minute, St Andrews kept on adding to the tally. From a free kick, Paz sent a cross inside the penalty area that was met by Bong Won Che whose effort ended up inside the net.

St Andrews made it 6-0 on the 90th minute. Friggieri delivered the ball towards substitute Jacob Walker who went past a defender and hit a low shot past Pembroke’s goalkeeper.
