Valletta returned to winning ways as they secured a 4-0 win over St Andrews.

Valletta forged ahead one minute into the second half. Steve Borg’s long ball forward found Mario Fontanella who slotted the ball inside the net.

The Citizens doubled their lead on the 68th minute. Enmy Pena Beltre’s cross from the right was met by Kyrian Nwoko who headed home.

Bogdan Gavrila sealed the issue for Valletta on the 78th minute. The substitute drilled a low shot that hit the post before bouncing off Matthew Calleja Cremona and ending up inside the net.

Things went from bad to worse for St Andrews on the 81st minute as Ricardo Martin was sent off after being shown his second yellow card of the match.

Valletta made the most out of their numerical advantage as they scored again two minutes later. Following a cross from the right by Gavrila, Santiago Malano placed the ball past Calleja Cremona.
