Senglea held Sliema in a goalless draw as the race for the fourth place remains wide open.

Sliema created the first chance of the match on the 26th minute. From a free-kick, Younes Marzouk saw his effort going off target.

Senglea replied on the 35th minute. Taisei Marakuwa went past two defenders before sending a shot that hit the side netting.

Vincenzo Potenza’s men threatened Sliema again on the 62nd minute. Diego Venancio’s delivery from a corner was met by Romulo Silva Santos who headed the ball wide.

The Wanderers hit back on the 77th minute. Marzouk served Ignacio Varela whose shot sailed over.

Senglea responded immediately. Matias Garcia fired a shot that was pushed away by Timothy Aquilina.

Five minutes from time, Venancio drilled a shot from a free-kick that ended up high.

This was the last chance of the match as both sides had to settle for a 0-0 draw.
