MUŻA closes temporarily due to power cuts in Valletta

MUŻA has closed temporarily due to power cuts, with the museum advising visitors to check for updates before planning their visit

MUŻA art gallery in Valletta has announced that it will remain closed today due to power cuts.

In a Facebook post on Thursday, MUŻA apologised for any inconvenience caused by the temporary closure and thanked the public for their patience.

"MUŻA – The National Community Art Museum – will remain closed today,” the museum said, adding that it looks forward to welcoming visitors back once normal operations resume.

Visitors planning a trip to MUŻA are being encouraged to check the museum’s latest announcements before visiting.

The closure comes amid widespread electricity disruptions across Malta as the country experienced record electricity demand on the grid during a period of extreme heat.
