Travel Republic ranks Hilton Malta among customers' Top 20 Hotels in 2011

In 2011 TravelRepublic.co.uk customers added more than 145,000 new reviews, taking the total to more than 385,000.

TravelRepublic chief executive Kane Pirie said: "we've added up the ratings our customers gave the hotels they stayed in and have compiled the top 20. Our customers are asked to rank their hotel from one (very poor) to 10 (spectacular), and you can only submit a review once you've made your booking and returned home, making our reviews 100% genuine. We are delighted that the Aegean Sky Hotel in Malia, Crete has topped the chart again. This property received an almost perfect score - 9.58 out of 10 - making it the highest ranking in our customers' eyes. With more than 120,000 hotels on the site, securing a spot in the top 20 is an impressive achievement."
