Eurosceptic MEP Nigel Farage addresses Malta tourism conference

Farage, whose anti-EU party triumphed in the recent European elections, will address an ITT conference to be held this week in Malta

British MEP Nigel Farage, of the United Kingdom Independence Party, will be in Malta on Wednesday to address the Institute of Travel and Tourism conference at the Hilton Malta Hotel.

The Ukip leader’s party triumphed in the European elections, inflicting another body blow on the three main political parties on when it scored a stunning victory in the elections.

Ukip took its first ever Scottish seat, taking the party’s total to 24 – almost double the 13 seats it won in the last European elections in 2009.

Former England and Liverpool legend John Barnes will also be addressing the conference.

Other speakers include lastminute.com CEO Matthew Cummack, XLN Telecom chairman John Donaldon, UK minister for sport Helen Grant, and TUI deputy CEO Johan Lundgren.
