Ryanair launches 15 new winter routes

The airline also announced a seat sale for travel during April and May, with fares available from €14.99

Ryanair announced on Thursday that it would be adding 15 new routes to its winter schedule.

The airline will be extending the destinations it services from Malta to Amman, Cardiff, Cork, Exeter, Lamezia, Billund, Nantes, Luxembourg, Maastricht, Paphos, Perguia, Santiago, Oslo, Rome Fiumicino and Thessalonki.

The list includes two cities which the airline will be flying to for the first time: Paphos in Cyprus and Santiago in Spain.

Ryanair Head of Sales Chiara Ravara said she expected that Maltese travelling via the airline would increase by 16% with additional traffic resulting from new routes increasing total customers passing through the Malta International Airport to three million.

Ryanair also said it was launching a seat sale with fares on its Malta routes during April and May available from €14.99. Flights must be booked by midnight on Tuesday 19 March.
