Woman grievously injured in Luqa road collision

A woman sustained grievous injuries in a road collision that happened in Luqa at 6am on Thursday, the police said.

The 32-year-old woman from Kalkara was driving a Toyota Vitz and collided with an Audi A4 driven by a 19-year-old man from Fgura. The man sustained minor injuries.

A medical team from Mater Dei Hospital was dispatched to the site, offering first assistance. Both drivers were eventually taken to hospital.

Police investigations are ongoing.
