Motorcyclist grievously injured in Mġarr collision

A motorcyclist suffered grievous injuries after colliding with a Toyota while driving in Mġarr.

Police were informed about the accident at around 4pm on Sunday and headed straight to the scene on Triq Għajn Tuffieħa.

Preliminary investigations found that a 27-year-old man from Qormi driving Voge motorcycle crashed into a Toyota Yaris Cross driven by a 43-year-old man from Mosta.

The motorcyclist was given immediate assistance from a medical team and taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance, where he was later certified to have suffered grievous injuries.

Police investigations are ongoing.
