A 20-year-old woman was taken to hospital with grievous injuries after being hit by a car in Hamrun
Police were informed of the incident at around 3am.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the woman was hit by a Ford Tourneo driven by a 47-year-old man who lives in Tarxien.
A medical team was called on site, and an ambulance took the woman to Mater Dei Hospital, where her injuries were certified grevious.
Police investigations are ongoing.
