Briton charged with seriously injuring co-national during fight
A 63 year-old Briton was released on bail after pleading not guilty to seriously injuring a fellow national during a fight in a Bugibba bar yesterday.

British national Trevor Edward Cook was granted bail against a €750 deposit after he pleaded not guilty to seriously injuring Edward Russel - another Englishman - when he smashed a glass in his face during an argument at Frank's Bar in Bugibba yesterday evening.
Cook allegedly smashed the glass in Russel's face when he interfered in a quarrel with the victim's wife.
Inspector Edmond Cuschieri prosecuted.
