Gozitan couple charged with causing injury to woman during fight

A couple from Nadur were charged with injuring a woman during a fight, and for breaching public peace.

The Magistrates Court in Victoria, Gozo

Saviour and Rita Camilleri, aged 64 and 63 respectively, pleaded not guilty to causing slight injuries to a woman and for breaching the public peace.

The incident was reported yesterday in Victoria Road, Nadur.

The couple were charged before the Gozo Magistrate's Court and released on bail.

Prosecution was led by Inspector Bernard Charles Spiteri.
