WATCH | Nationalist leader Alex Borg votes in Munxar

Nationalist Party leader Alex Borg cast his vote in Munxar, Gozo, on Saturday, urging voters to continue participating in the election and support what he described as a "new breath of life" for Malta.

Speaking to journalists outside the polling station, Borg thanked members of the media for travelling to Gozo to cover the vote.

He called on the public to continue voting, saying the country deserved a "Nifs Ġdid" (New Breath), a slogan that has featured prominently in the Nationalist Party's campaign.

Borg was accompanied by European Parliament President Roberta Metsola and Nationalist Party candidates contesting the 13th electoral district as he arrived at the polling station.

The PN leader was also accompanied by Electoral Commissioner Salvu Sant.
